AIPI develops institutional cooperation activities with other administrations, public agencies and specialized networks in the areas of public integrity, prevention of corruption and protection of informants.
In Spain
AIPI coordinates the institutional cooperation with the Autonomous Community authorities provided for in Law 2/2023 setting up a stable framework that operates as a permanent forum for the continuous exchange of information between the various authorities, in the terms provided for in that Law, with the aim of ensuring a coherent and homogeneous application of the regulations throughout the national territory.
In addition, the AIPI is part of the Network of Offices and Anti-Fraud Agencies of the Spanish State, which brings together public authorities with competence in the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud and corruption at the different territorial levels, constituting a space for collaboration in which information, experiences and technical and legal criteria are exchanged and coordinated actions are promoted.
AIPI also collaborates with control, supervision and oversight bodies, as well as other institutions with related functions — the General Council of the Judiciary, the Public Prosecutor ' s Office, etc. — in order to ensure effective and complementary action in their respective areas of competence.
At the international level
AIPI is a member of the Network of European Authorities for the Integrity and Protection of Reporting Persons (NEIWA), which brings together public authorities from various European States that are competent in this field.
This Network is a technical cooperation forum aimed at exchanging knowledge and comparative experiences between counterpart authorities, with special attention to the application of European regulations on the protection of informants and the strengthening of institutional integrity systems.
In this framework, the participating authorities carry out joint work activities, including the elaboration of recommendations, the identification of good practices and the analysis of common challenges in areas such as information management, protection against reprisals and the design of secure communication channels.
AIPI also participates in meetings, seminars and technical activities with European counterparts, aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and the continuous improvement of integrity systems.
