In the first three months of the year, the AIPI produces an Annual Report in which it gives an account of the actions carried out during the previous year within the scope of its functions.
This report should include the number and nature of communications submitted and also those that were the subject of investigation and their outcome, specifying the suggestions or recommendations made to the Authority and the number of proceedings opened.
The report is submitted annually to the Cortes Generales and the President of the Authority appears before the competent committees of the Congress of Deputies and the Senate to explain its content and give an account of what is included in it.
