The President of the AIPI, Manuel Villoria, travelled to Brussels this week to take part in two highly significant events. Yesterday, 20 October, he participated in the European Whistleblowing Conference, dedicated to “Whistleblowing in the AI Era”, and tomorrow, 22 October, he will attend the plenary meeting of the European Network of Corruption Prevention Authorities (ENAC).
Yesterday’s conference featured three main panel discussions. The first examined how trust can be fostered in relation to AI-related whistleblowing. The second focused on national security and the new world order. The third addressed the practical challenges arising in this new era of artificial intelligence. Experts from various European institutions participated in the discussions across the different panels.
Tomorrow, 22 October, the ENAC Conference will take place, covering a range of issues closely linked to the AIPI’s work. The event will provide an intensive forum for discussion, analysis and the exchange of best practices.
