On this page you will find information about the autonomous community authorities created in the field of protection of whistleblowers.
The designated authorities in the autonomous communities are the competent ones, in accordance with the provisions of the article 24 of Law 2/2023, to act as an external channel with regard to the information that affects:
- to the regional and local public sector in their respective territories,
- the autonomous institutions referred to in Article 13.2, and
- To entities that are part of the private sector, when the reported non-compliance is limited to the territorial scope of the corresponding Autonomous Community.
The regulations specific to each autonomous community determine in a specific way which are the categories of infractions that, in each case, assume its external regional channel.
In addition, the AIPI may act as an external information channel for those autonomous communities that decide to do so, subject to the subscription of the corresponding agreement in accordance with the provisions of Second additional provision of Law 2/2023. This possibility also exists with respect to cities with Statute of Autonomy.
